I enjoy Mt. Dew. But pepsi is a close second.

Other. I actually don't drink much soda, but when I do, I make ginger beer from crushed ginger juice, some cane sugar, and carbonated water. It's far better than store-bought ginger ale, and not all that much more expensive.

I'm a die-hard Dr. Pepper girl! It's about the only thing I'll drink. Used to LOVE pepsi, but for some reason it started tasting different to me.. ? I hate Coke though! If I'm desperate I'll drink a pepsi, but I have to be extremely desperate to go for a coke. My second drink is my iced coffeee. I make mine in a blender! I like some fruit drinks, but can't handle much juice it upsets my stomach. I do like that hawaiian punch stuff quite a bit though. I'll drink tea if it's strong and not totally sugared down. My first preference is always Dr. Pepper though.

Dr. Pepper is pretty popular in the South, but real Southerners drink Cheerwine (I can't stand either, actually.)

If I'm drinking soda, I prefer orange sodas, like Fanta or Sunkist. If it's a Pepsi vs. Coke battle, I'd definitely go with Coke. (Diet, actually. With a lemon wedge.)

I drink Coke Zero and Diet Dr. Pepper, and if I'm splurging, whole foods type fruit sodas. (Pomegranate and boysenberry are freaking awesome!)

Man, I haven't had Hawaiian Punch in forever. As soon as I saw you mention it, I could immediately taste it in my mouth. And we used to laugh forever when we were kids over our Punch-staches.

I only enjoy soda/pop (I call it both, I've lived up north and down south!) on the very rare occasion--usually when it is hot out and the soda is really cold. I'm not a big fan of very sweet. I sometimes get strong cravings for ginger ale. I usually get Vernor's as that is what I had growing up. I like Reed's Ginger Brew, but I am not sure if that counts?

My favorite is Cream Soda from the Schweppes brand. It's only available at some large Asian Supermarket chains. I believe it was made in Hong Kong and exported internationally.

Regular Coke with REAL SUGAR, that you can only find in Kosher section of stores some of the year, and in MEXICAN food stores, since it is ONLY made in Mexico now. It is just "crisper and cleaner" then "corn syrup" Coke.

Sounds better to me. The heavy corn syrupy-ness of sodas is a reason why I don't drink them more.

Dr Pepper is a Texas thing, since it originated in the Lone Star state.

That sounds really good. How do you get the crushed ginger juice? I use ginger root in cooking and can't see how you could get much in the way of juice from it. Do you have some sort of juicing machine?

I almost never drink soda. I will occasionally have a Schweppe's ginger ale, but that's about it. I mainly drink juice, water or wine.

I drink hippy soda with natural flavours or weird flavours.... Chinoto is one of my favourites. It's lightly flavoured with a bitter kind of citrus (bitter sweet baby!). I also like gingerale and ginger beer especially. Home brewed Jamaican style please.
