With the release of the final Harry Potter movie looming, nobody should really be surprised that there's a slew of unofficial merchandise out there. It happens with every big movie like this. Twilight is just one example. Some of these things are actually kind of neat in a totally random artsy way, but some of them really made me go "wtf?"

Check out for yourself "the most WTF unofficial Harry Potter Merchandise"! This is obviously not all that's out there, and since I think all of these came from Etsy, I'd be willing to bet you could find more there too.

Seeing all that stuff from Etsy got me back over there and ogling this bag that I've wanted to buy forever. I just haven't had the money at the same time that I remember about the bag. Maybe as a Christmas present to myself this year..

Those are definitely some WTF items. I do like the My Little Ponies as a Death Eater and Dementer. I had My Little Ponies when I was a wee lass.

I have one now. It was a joke gift from a friend a few Christmases ago who asked what I wanted in that almost patronizing mall Santa kind of way, so in the same tone back I said "I want a pink pony" and then for Christmas that year, he handed me this wrapped box and said "Here you go, you have a pony. The words 'my' 'pretty' and 'little' may or may not be involved though..."

I cracked up, lol

I kind of liked all of these. I at least smiled at most of them. I love the paintings and wouldn't mind owning them. And the garters? Sure, why not. Might as well let my future spouse know what s/he's getting into.

Most of that stuff didn't seem very weird. I think those people are way sheltered if they find the Draco painting disturbing! XD

Well, the mounted elf head is, but not when considered as a prop thing. Then it's on par with the replica mandrake and the tom riddle diary.
