Major League Soccer announced its partnership with the Boy Scouts of America will not extend beyond 2012. While the official line is the partnership is ending "for a variety of business reasons" it's worth noting that the MLS announcement came on the heels of a BSA announcement that they would continue their policy of excluding gays.

They most likely did discuss it, though I wonder how much it factored in. This depends on how fast it happened after the announcement. If immediately after, then I don't think it contributed much, as that would indicate that they're been thinking about severing their ties for a while. If it's about 3 days after, then it may have played a bigger part in their decision making.
