I wonder if this strong desire to NOT get up, NOT go out, NOT do anything but stay under covers when it is pouring rain out is simple human nature (ie, programmed response)? Does everyone have it? Do you?

Our dog, right now, reluctantly went out her dog door, peed and immediately ran back to bed, and is firmly asleep on my pillow. SHE has enough sense to say "it is RAINING...come back to bed".

I, however, am on my way to work. I wonder which of us has more sense???

I wish I can, but I still have to take care of all the chores around the house.

Speaking of dogs, my poodle hates the rain, he stays off the grass when it's soggy. I have to constantly check the Weather Underground site, waiting for precipitation to pass, so I can walk him and let him do his business!

I wish that was possible, my bills won't pay them selves. I keep saying to them you gotta pay yourself, they just stare at me life I'm a dummy. LOL

I like rainy days over sunny ones! They put me in the best mood! I think it's my Irish "living in the mist and moor" ancestry. Hahaha

When it's raining, I love to stay home if at all possible, either under the nice warm covers or sitting out on the back porch or near a window with a hot cup of tea. I just love soaking up the sound and smell of the rain. I find it soothing.

I absolutely love rainy/overcast/cold days. And yes, I always just want to have a lazy day at home whenever it's raining. Just grab a hot drink and relax!

It was raining here this morning...went to bed at around 2:00 and had to be up at 6:45....OMG....totally sucks.....wanted to stay in bed ALL morning.....

whenever i wake up to rain, i just wanna lay around & do nothing. i love waking up to rain & my bf. i also love going to bed w/ my bf while it's raining hard out. the sound is soothing, & somewhat sexy.
