Thank you for the love -- you're making me blush! I agree with SincerelyN and Charmedtomeetyou, you're the one who deserved the most praise on Eden!

I want to show some love for Woman China because she has a lively personality and always makes us smile with her interesting responses in the forums; and she is always writing reviews that are not just helpful, but also a joy to read!

You beat me to her, but considering you've known her longer, that's probably best.

I really appreciated all the cooking club events run by Antipova! That woman knows her stuff like nobody else! I and others had a lot of fun with those events and I miss them! Her reviews and video reviews are also outstanding!

Thanks for the compliment for me, serious red face here!! Anyways, I think this is a good thread that is very much needed to show the appreciation and to help introduce some of the older members to the newer members on the site. I also know I am looking forward to mentioning a couple of the newer members as well.....

Darn it, you beat me to my next "nomination", so I'll just add to it...Arch Vixen has some of the most consistently terrific reviews on here and I read them because I have similar reactions to toys as she does, so I know if she likes it, I likely will as well. (Conversely, if Woman China says a toy is strong, I know to never go near it as it will likely kill me, lol!) I contacted Arch Vixen out of the blue after reading a review she did on an item I wanted and couldn't locate. She was nice enough to not only respond to a stranger, but she actually hunted down the last of that item for sale in the entire country! The manufacturer had gone out of business and I didn't know that as the item still said out of stock on Eden, not discontinued. I bought it and love it, as well a every thing else she has recommended!

OK, I'll limit the gushing to that story, but trust me, she is just great (and by the way, I also contacted Woman China out of the blue one day and she was just as wonderfully helpful comparing different models for me from her extensive collection.) I have had the good fortune to contact some of the most responsive, affable people on the site and had such amazingly welcoming responses. I want to encourage new people to take a chance and ask people questions or for help, there are a lot of really nice people here!

I love the forums here, especially the fact that the "Social" forum usually has at least a few really interesting and thought provoking questions, so just outright leaving was never really an option.

It's been a lot of fun getting to know you too, I don't tend to make friends easily (being shy, it can be...difficult, at best, to actually strike up a proper conversation even online) so it's great finding someone I actually enjoy chatting with. =3

Personally, there's at least three or four people I can think of (I'm simply going to have to stalk the thread so I can mention everyone. :3), but I'd like to start out with Stormy.
Not only has she been (from what I've noticed) busting tailbone to try and keep things running smoothly around here, but she brought the llama army into Eden. xD
Every day I go and check my wall on here, it seems like she's been tirelessly answering questions people have too, and helping point new members in the right direction.

Thank you, that's very sweet. I have been a member of many communities online -- large and small, Eden is the only forum where I ever felt "at home" on the internet. I enjoy helping and teaching and I even learn new things every day, so it's a win-win in my eyes.

I'm very, very grateful and appreciative to all of those who continue to stay with us and I am very much looking forward to the next round of changes. (Hint: it has to do with the forum, but I'm not going into much more detail than that!)

Great idea you had here. I have to say I enjoy reading all the amazingly diverse opinions and learning about the wide range of life style choices that people freely share here, on EF. However, at the moment I have to mention that while I do read with great enjoyment, the posts of at least a dozen different people, lately I have been most impressed by Stormy, who brings a wide range of opinions and a high level of intelligence and knowledge to her posts, and then there is Travelnurse, who has some great, highly educated insight to those areas she comments on.
Again, there are so many wonderful EF members here, it would be hard to name them all, as when I go through the "advice" postings, I know there are some I really value for consistent reliable accuracy and the same about certain peoples review of toys, who are spot on, when I choose to follow their advice on what is "great".
