Survival expert/books, water purification straw (allows you to drink pretty much any source of water while filtering it) rations, radio.

If i were on an island by myself and I had no hope of being recovered I would want, water purification straw, rations and a sharp knife.

The laser= Hitting an airplane and then some government coming to find me. The water system=Gotta have water to live.
The knife= You always need a knife.
