What is your favorite activity to do with loved ones in the summer? I just got home from a day on the lake with friends and being on the boat is like a happy place. What do you do to have fun and cool off in the hot summer months?

Taking day-trips to find the little historical towns or interesting locations nearby. It's fun to play tourist and experience the local attractions, and we always end up at an ice cream shop or cafe and act silly and romantic over a treat. I guess we play at being newlyweds too.

It's just as much fun with friends as by ourselves, though of course we aren't sappy-sweet then. It is still nice to just sit and chat with friends and relax.

We live 10 miles from the Forest Service and go up there with the dogs every night. It is amazingly fun to explore, find things and run the dogs.

Sit in my house with the ac blasting (which is covered in our rent already, yay!)

Lately I enjoy going to the beach a lot. I'm actually going to ride my bike there tomorrow if I wake up early. It will be about 40-50 miles round trip!

I like going to concerts, but it's rare that I can afford that. I mostly like going on walks/hikes with a friend or by myself. It's nice to be outside.

I just go with the flow sometimes its swimming other times its a picnic or enjoying a day at a farmers market.
