I'm usually up on Eden cause I can't pull myself away from just sleep. I just have the tv on for background noise basically. There's not a lot of choice cause most is those stupid 30min commercials selling shit, but I do like Quantum Leap if I'm still up at 2am. And the Golden Girls - oldie but a goodie in my opinion.

I don't have cable TV, so I watch Doctor Who or documentaries on Netflix.

I love the History channel, Food Network, Discovery, etc so I try to make sure the DVR is loaded with a bunch of those types of shows.

The boyfriend doesn't believe in TVs in the bedroom so we usually talk until exhaustion sets in and we cuddle to sleep. I used to have something on all the time, but I find that I sleep much better now with no background noise. Now even when I visit my mother (where there is a TV in the room I sleep) I can't sleep with the TV on and get a good night's sleep.
