what's your thoughts on Super PACS? there's an interesting article here suggesting that they may help democratize the process by preventing any single candidate from having too much of a financial advantage. On the other hand, even if this is true, I'd hate to see the politician elected solely by one rich guy. If newt becomes president (shudder) and Sheldon Adelson (billionaire who has given him $11 million so far) wants something, it's pretty clear newt would have little choice but to give in.
