I pay per text message. The cheapest texting plan my carrier has is $5 a month, so I've always said if I start spending more than $5 in texts on a regular basis I'll get it. I've yet to spend more than $5 in individual texts two months in a row, so it's just not worth it to me.

I pay $45 a month for unlimited everything with straight talk. It's the best deal I have found. I send more than 100 text in one day, so I have to have unlimited text.

I've been paying $30 a month for unlimited text/300 minutes a month with Virgin (There's also internet access in the plan, but I mostly just used it to check emails, rather than surf the web, so don't have much of an opinion on it.).

I do not have unlimited texting I have the 5 dollar texting plan my my cell phone provider. they no longer offer it but since I have had it for so long im grandfathered in. I think i have only 300 texts I can use each month but for me its worth it since i dont text that much but its better than buying an unlimited texing plan for 20 bucks or so and wasting money on it since like i said i dont text like that

500, though I'm probably cutting that off when my gf moves closer. I find the costs impressive, since it basically costs nothing to send/receive texts

I've got an old Verizon plan with unlimited text and data. I've been avoiding upgrading until they force me to since they no longer offer any unlimited stuff.

I too have the $45 plan with straight talk. I wouldnt change it for the world. I plan on getting an unlocked AT&T phone with my tax return (either the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the Iphone4s. Probably the S3) since they have the BYOP program, and I love spending no more than like $49 a month (w/ taxes).

our neighbor just signed up for verizon and is paying over $150 a month for 2 phones.. I pay a little less than $100 for unlimited everything for my husband and I

We opted for unlimited because of how much I text my bf and the fact my aunt prefers to communicate with my mother through texts. xD
We've got a 300 talk minute, everything else unlimited plan through Virgin Mobile actually.
