The Perfect Sandwich

Contributor: ththpup ththpup
What is your perfect sandwich? What kind of bread do you use? Is it toasted or no? Is it a foot-tall or a foot-long? Does it have a little bit of everything or is it the image of simplicity? Is it the peanut butter and jelly sandwich that your mom or dad used to make you for school?

My absolute favorite is a Reuben sandwich! Corned Beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing, on rye, toasted in the skillet... Yummm!

Toast a bagel, spread with cream cheese. Add turkey, ham, cheddar, pepperjack, lettuce, tomato, sweet onion and an avacado. Eat very carefully!!!!!

Almost like js250 for me.

lightly toast a whole wheat or onion bagel (just to get it crunchy) in the oven with a little olive oil. Add add cheese, mustard, turkey, bacon, small amount of lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado, and cilantro.

If I have time and I'm not lazy/plan more sammiches. I will make the avocado into a spread/guacamole with the red onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime...just so it's easier to apply/spread.

I have only really eaten my sammiches like this in the past year. They are easier to carry around and tasty.

Hot and ham and cheese on honey wheat bread.

My favorite subs are from Jersey Mike's - lettuce, tomato, smidge of mayo and mustard, ham and white American cheese with pickles.

So I toast two pieces of bread. On one I put butter and jelly, as if I am making toast, and then on the other while it is still hot I put peanut butter on it. The peanut butter melts and is the best way to eat a PB&J
