The Tassimo Beverage machine...

I want one of those beverage machines with the pods. I was wondering...those of you who have the Tassimo one...do you like it? Is it worth the money? Are the drinks it makes tasty??

I was trying to decide between that and the Keurig...my job had the Keurig and the drinks weren't that great to me...but the machine was pretty old.

Any input on the Tassimo or any beverage machine would be appreciated!! less

I'm a true coffee addict.

The Tassimo is my favorite but it is hard to find the discs for it close by; I have to go to bed bath and beyond or target or else mail order. The Keurig is easier to get cups for, even my grocery store has them.

But, for taste and variety? Tassimo all the way. The cappuccino and latte drinks are almost coffee shop quality (a little less strong). I use it mostly for those, the Keurig for daily brew.

I even have video of my Tassimo - though mine is the old style, made by Braun. I believe they are having another manufacturer make them now. (it's at the top of the post. less

Just to toss a wrench into the whole selection process, one of the advantages of the Tassimo is it's exclusive agreement with Starbucks....to make Starbucks drinks...

But, Starbucks plans to get into the single beverage maker market, releasing their own machine and breaking their licensing agreement with Tassimo.

So, soon Tassimo won't have Starbucks drinks and there will be a third beverage maker on the market with, presumably some cup/disc design of their own.

If you are not a Sbucks fan, however, all this is irrelevant to you! less
