On this date in 1987, Boyce W. West of Clarksville, Arkansas received a U.S. Patent for his invention, a device for “premature ejaculators to satisfactorily engage in sexual intercourse by enabling the male to obtain and maintain an erection of his own penis for a sufficient time and with sufficient rigidity to engage in coitus.” Source: link
