Romney has 1 million more votes than Obama - only in US can you get the most votes and loose.

Expect more gridlock - Obama has no mandate. The House is still controlled by the opposition.

4 more years of 8%+ unemployment - YEAH!

Don't be mad. Those numbers would stay the same or inflate if Romney were elected.

It's true, but Gunsmoke does have a point (and I'm not even a republican!). I followed this election off and on and did a lot of research about the election process this year and it does seem pretty skewed to me that the popular vote clearly elected Romney, but Obama still won. I'm grateful that Obama won, don't get me wrong... But it's a little awful that there are some states where you vote doesn't really count for anything, but other states where it means the world. If every single person in Alaska showed up to vote but only 10% of California's population showed up, California would hold an exceeding amount of weight but Alaska would hold almost none.

BUT... I digress. Yay, blue!

Oh I completely agree the voting process is totally screwed up, but you won't hear me complaining because my wish came true. I was literally panicking last night when I saw the initial results.

Seemed like a lot of people noticed it - she claimed it was only because of a very long night.
