So I know my room mate uses sex toys and that my sister does too. Being a curious aficionado, I really want to ask them what they have! I know that is considered to be private information so I am not going to ask and nose into their business but I just get curious. Are you all the same way too?

My roomie's and I talk openly about it. They ask my advice and I ask them how they like the newest whatever they've just bought

I think it depends how close you are....
Hard to say, it wouldnt hurt. Just bring up the topic.....then from there if she doesnt seem to embarresed or irritated then ask.

That's true. It's not that I absolutely have to know or anything. It's just that I am curious. I'm not really open with anyone about how I review toys, only my partner knows. I did mention to my room mate that I review them from time to time and that I would show her how if she wanted to. I didn't tell her how into it I am or that I have my own blog or anything.
Maybe if we ever get on the topic of it sometime I can ask what kinds she prefers to use or something.
