Typos with the iPad?

Contributor: SecretToyLover2 SecretToyLover2
This goes for all generations of iPads... Do you find that you have tons of typos, even if you are carefully typing? It is impossible for me to write an email without having a crapload of typos that I have to go back and check. My fingers are tiny and I have never had trouble typing on the iPhone or iPod touch. I just cannot seem to type on my damn iPad 3.

I think it's just something you have to get used to, like typing on the iphone as well.

Ya, when I type on either my iPhone or iPad I usually get types which drive me nuts. But, it happens and i get used to it.

Babe you just gotta get used to it. It's probably because I have had one longer than you. But I think over time it gets easier to type.

I don't have one. I've never used one. It took me a while to get used to the keyboard on my laptop when I first got it. We had always had desk tops with detached keyboards.

It took me a while to get used to my laptop, then it was hard to use my desk top. I had to type something on my desktop today, so I could send a fax, and I made a bunch of mistakes.

I use the diction feature when I'm working with the Pages app on my iPad and just keep an eye out for words with multiple spellings. You may have to lay the iPad at an angle to get it into a more ergonomic position for typing.
