Am I the only person in a relationship that DOESN'T like Valentine's Day? I hate it. I feel like it's just a day where people in relationships like to rub it in everyone else's faces. Everyone compares what their SO got them, & tons of people post pics of it on Facebook. I'd rather my bf do something nice for me or get me something on some random day of the yr b/c he was thinking of me & loves me & not on Valentine's Day when he feels like he has to. He agreed w/ me when I told him so, too.

so i'm now sitting here with a boyfriend who was before saturday open to an open relationship, who now feels like i've cheated on him, whose grandmother died yesterday to top it all off, and with whom i really don't think i'm going to make it another month, at best.
fuck valentine's day. at least for me. at least right now. it's just another reminder that love aint what they make it out to be. and right now it sucks.

I agree with you; I'd rather my partner do something on a random day just because he feels like it, not because he's "supposed to".
