We still decided to stick with the same carrier, and all got phones...and a new two year contract, when our current contract expired. We love the new technology, so it works for us. How often do you switch cell phones?

I wait until I need a new phone. either because mine is broken, or stopped working right. I dont really care about having the newest technology when it comes out.

We used to upgrade each time we were allowed an upgrade but now that we have smartphones I don't think we'll be doing that any time soon.

This. My phone is cracked and damaged but it still works fine so I've stuck with it.

We usually just stick with whatever phone we have until A)The phone breaks beyond repair -or- B)We have a sudden windfall of money with which to upgrade to a better phone.
