Would you prefer a large wedding (over 100 people) or a small, intimate wedding?

OMG!!! My first wedding had 32 people. My second had the two witnesses, our BBQ reception that was a surprise to family had about 16 people. We both dislike crowds of any sort!!!

It depends on some factors:

Whom am I marrying?
What does he want?
Who's paying for it?

Small intimate wedding. If they haven't been around and a part of our life before the big event why bother involving them in a major part of our life.

We had a fairly large wedding at my mother's request. I would have preferred a smaller one.

Save the money and go elope to somewhere fun! That would both be more enjoyable and would avert any awkwardness and/or drama that might result in having my mom and dad in the same room.

we eloped. and 18 years later i still dont regreat it. for 500.00 we got the weding, pics, cake, champagne, flowers, candles, a dream come true in a small cabin weding chaple. then two days of fun in our own private cabin. we came home to a party at a local restraunt for family and friends.

it was the simplest thing ever. very intimate. and full of memories. no fuss, no worries, no inlaws, no breaking your budget. belive me. for 2000.oo photographer, cateror, flowers, venue, rehersal dinner, yikes. the list goes on and on. but with that money you can have a great start to new life. not just a few months of planing for one big day and all that is left in the photo graphs and the bills.

elope. you wont regret it..

30 people including us. A big deciding factor for me was growing up my mum always said she couldn't even remember what they had to eat, cause she didn't get the chance to sit down, too many people. My husband and I are big foodies, so I decided small because I wanted to eat on my wedding day. Joke was on me, about a week before we got married I found out I was pregnant and couldn't stomach anything on the day.

I have no plans to get married just now, but when I do, I want a very, very small wedding. Or I want to elope.

Small for sure, I don't like being the center of attention!

small. a big one is just a waste of money. Its just a wedding. the size of it does not make it any better. as long as those you love are there, thats all that matters.

It depends on how many people are truly important to you.
