Very odd things have been happening to my account.

First I finished a DR review and unable to submit it to an administrator. When I scroll down to the bottom it only allows me to "safe as draft". It doesn't give me an option to publish or anything myself like it normally does. I even saved it as a draft and returned to it and it still won't let me submit it.

and then..

I got this weird email dropping me from the class I was in. The email said, "I'm sorry but you did pass the class", It said by the "recommendation of the mentor" is why I didn't pass. But the funny thing is that I only finished ONE review in her class, and you can't pass or fail someone unless they finish at least two reviews. It's really odd, all this happened in the last hour.

I wrote my mentor and asked her did she know anything about it. I also sent a message to the forum mediator about this. I was just curious if this was happening to anyone else.

anyone has any idea?

I was having issues before with my reviews not letting me submit. I would just keep checking back. The one wouldn't at all but I got in to a class and it let me send it to my mentor. Submit a ticket though. I never followed up with mine since I haven't had issues since.

I have two DRs out and I just tried opening the window to write one (I was going to have to start writing it tonight anyways) and I have the 'submit to admin' button right where it's always been. The button thing might be a cookie problem, but the mentor thing? That IS strange.

Are you sure it didn't say that the class was cancelled? I hope that they can get this sorted out! I'd be so scared if something happened to my Eden account! (I've heard of someone who had a 'friend' hack in and delete ALL of their reviews and such! Ahhh!)

EDIT- Could the DR issue be connected with the dropped from the class thing? I've heard of reviews getting 'locked' in a class when you pass/fail them with a draft. Was it like that before you got dropped?

How do you delete reviews? I didn't think one could do that. I have a draft just sitting there cause it was my first one and I hit the normal format instead of extended and now it just waiting for me to actually think of what all to put in it...lol. I like extended because it makes sure I at least don't forget the important things.

You know, I didn't think about that, but before I was dropped there was an option to submit to an administrator, but once I was dropped it was gone. I didn't think that would effect it because it's a DR review and always goes to an administrator. I hope that they can fix it.

Me either! I didn't know you could delete reviews. I thought that was something an administrator could do, but then again you never know. That is really scary though, I would be so pissed. I don't even know how I would react...

That's what I'm hoping for is that it will just fix itself. haha I love when things just fix themselves.

I think that they edited the writing to not say anything, but most of their reviews were offsite on a blog. Yeah, you can't delete reviews entirely!

I hope that you get it figured out! I wouldn't have thought that it would be an issue either since it's a DR, but it will be good to know if it's a possibility now!

I just had an issue when I went to submit my review it didnt give me the option to send it to my mentor, it only said editor. Though it should give me the option for both.

I have a student having a similar issue, neither of us can figure it out. I can see the review, I just can't do anything to it. He said he sent it to me and to the editor (I don't know if that is possible) but he tried whatever it was he thought would work and it didn't. I decided to contact JR and asked him to have a look at the account because I did have the option to graduate him, he has two reviews but after I opened the review that I couldn't edit, the option to graduate him was gone and I only had the button to fail him which I didn't do that. Since I'm an editor this rotation, I went to the task market and his review wasn't there, nor has it been posted by another editor so I have no idea. I just emailed JR, he knows more than I do for sure!

Reviews that are started during a class get glitched if they are not published before the class ends (either by passing or failing). Based on your current profile, you no longer have a mentor. My guess is the review is glitched. Once you re-enroll with your mentor (or any mentor for that matter) it should resolve the problem and allow you to submit it to admin.
