I have had some really freaking weird dreams and vivid nightmares in my life, as I imagine most people have. What's the weirdest or most interesting dream or nightmare you've ever had? The more detail the better! I find this stuff fascinating. Text walls welcome!

I'll go first. Maybe not the weirdest, but what got me thinking about this is the couple of nightmares I had last night. The first one's kind of gross, so yeah. Be warned.

I was hanging out with a couple of friends and relatives, and at one point they were running and I was riding a dog to catch up with them. No idea why, but it was kind of awesome anyway. When I caught up to them, we all sat down in doctor's office type chairs (though we were outside in the middle of nowhere), and I happened to notice a cut on my arm. It wasn't big or bleeding, so I forgot about it. Then another one appeared on my other arm. It looked really deep but still not bleeding. Then...the skin around the cut started melting. I didn't freak out but merely watched it spread. I finally showed everyone what was going on, but at that point most of the skin on my arm was falling off. It was...unsettling.

The next dream was about tornadoes. I've always had a fear of tornadoes, growing up in Indiana. I was at a Best Buy with my boyfriend, and when I went to leave, the building was surrounded by huge, black tornadoes. We ran back inside, only to find out that the whole building was covered in windows and there was no basement. When we looked back outside, the tornadoes had come together into a big circle-y thing in the sky and it looked like aliens were about to attack or something. Then someone pointed out that it had all been a big advertisement for the movie "Skyline." Sigh. Damn my dreams.

Let's see. I had a dream that I was lost. My friends were trying to direct me after I took a wrong turn. We were going to a sex toy store out of town and I decided to tag along since I had nothing better to do. I was standing out on a dock trying to get better reception, I see a sinking ship. It changes from being very far off into the distance, and suddenly it's right next to me. It looked like the same size it was on the horizon, but now that it was closer, it was very small. It sank and disappeared completely in an instant.

Then a cat emerged from the water. It had been on the boat and no one else seemed to have been on the boat. I drag the cat out of the water and wrap it up in the shirt I'm wearing and get into my car.

Then it got weirder. The cat could talk and decided to act as my guardian....I fail to understand the plot device. It acted very much like a child and liked to held constantly, but it seemed to have inexplicably supernatural powers

I had a dream once in 8th grade that was very odd. I found myself in the parking lot in front of one of my hometowns grocery stores and I saw a girl that I went to school with banging on the automatic doors at the front of the store. I walked up to her and asked her what the problem was because she seemed really distraught. She explained to me that her mother had gone in grocery shopping and she had stayed in the car but realized she hadn't asked her mother for processed cheese. She had gotten out of the car to go into the grocery store but the automatic doors would not let her in, every time she tried to enter with another person they would slam shut right before she entered.

I told her I would let her mother know about the processed cheese and went in to go find her. As I went through the doors her voice echoed in the background " Don't forget the processed cheese! Don't forget the processed cheese!" When I discovered her mother, she was shopping in the toiletries section for scented candles. I told her about the cheese and that her daughter couldn't get into the store to let her know herself and she just shook her head and said "Figures". After that she wouldn't acknowledge me at all.

I told the girl at school the next day and she just said " Weird, processed cheese is my favorite food."

I have no idea what the dream meant. I don't think I ever will.
