I was in Girl Scouts from Kindergarden until 6th grade, mostly because my mom wanted me to be.

Were you in scouts? For how long, and did you enjoy it?

I was a girl scout from 1st-3rd grade. I liked it but I did NOT like selling and delivering cookies.

I was in the Cub Scouts from the start of the program to finish. I was a Boy Scout on-and-off for a couple years before quitting once I realized they didn't like atheist non-straights around. :p

i was in girl scouts for 2 yrs. i hated it. the leaders i had were cunts & favored their daughters over all the other girls. they were actually mean to my younger sister & picked on her a lot. after 2 yrs, we were both done.

Nope, but I was a Pioneer Girl and then a Pioneer Girl leader - very similar to Girl Scouts but with a Christian premise. It was actually a lot of fun and less intensive than Girl Scouts - no selling, no uniforms (we just had sashes), and smaller groups and smaller events.

I was for a year (third grade) - my best friend and I worked as a team the whole time; we ran our cookie selling like a drug ring ... she was the dealer and I was the mule (surprised we got away with doing it like that). XD She was more into the Scouts than I was, but I found it fun.

I never was in girlscouts/brownies/bu ttercups/etc. when I was little. I was too shy to join a group like that.

I was a scout for 1 year, would have been longer, but my troop disbanded.

I was a girl scout for 7 years and most of that my mom was a leader/co-leader. Our troop was huge and practically all the girls I knew were in it. Our leaders were super motivated and prior girls scouts themselves, and just didn't an awesome job building the troops at out school. I thought it was awesome up until the very end. We lost the good leaders to moving away and cancer, troop size shrunk as high school sports took priority. Lot of good memories though.

Way back in the day, yes, but dropped out of things around middle school. Had other priorities and activities I was more involved in. I did enjoy the camping part of things, but was not in a great troop of people.
