I think I'm driving up to Wisconsin with my fiance and his parents for the weekend. Should be kinda fun, so long as they let us sleep past 7 am, lol I'm hoping to catch some fireworks, cuz I absolutely love them

What about the rest of you? Anything exciting planned? Or even not so exciting

My roomie's mom is coming in from NV tonight and will be here for 2 weeks or so. She's cool.

Cyn's gone for the rest of the summer, so I probably won't be doing much.

I usually try to listen to Soundgarden's "Fourth of July" on that day...it's just a thing I do.

We always barbecue. We can see our town's fireworks from our upstairs bedroom window, so we watch from there. We're that lazy.

My family's plan was always to go hang out at my mom's boyfriend's place, because he lives next to a courthouse across the street from a race track that does a huge display every year, so we would always hop his fence and watch the fireworks from the parking garage of the courthouse. I missed last year to watch out by my grandmother's place and I just found out I might be missing out on an actual show this year

We're going with some friends and our kids up to see an Air Show and then watch some fireworks at this park along the one river near here. We go every year and it's a lot of fun. I LOVE fireworks on the 4th!

Working. With Motel 6 you don't get any holidays off, and it happens to be a work day for me. So I'll be working late and then coming home to barely eat and then bed. Just another day for me.

We have multiple parades to be in.

We're members of the Patriot Guard - armed forces support motorcycle group - and we do a lot of parades on holidays.

After they're done, though?

We're kid free for the weekend and are going to bbq and drink Corona!

I have an aunt in Wisconsin! Cool!

Anyway I'm getting a new vibe in the mail around the 4th so I'll be enjoying that while listening to the rednecks blow up shit outside in lieu of actual fireworks.

Well, our parade is on Saturday, so there'll be that.

The local Kiwanis club hosts an annual pancake breakfast with tons of pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, blah blah blah. We'll probably go to that. (It's so early though! 7am!)

After that, it's supposed to be a really nice day, so we might hang out at one of the parks, barbequing and playing Backgammon, dominoes, card games, etc. for the majority of the day.

Then, fireworks in the evening! Sun doesn't set until like 10:30, here, though. So, it'll be a looooong afternoon.

We're winging it - there is SO much to do in Philly and so much going on for the 4th... I guess we need to figure it out. Last year, we went to my husband's mom's house for a long weekend and that was really nice. I kinda wish we'd planned on that again.

I'm moving into my new place on the 3rd, so I am hoping to do AS LITTLE AS KEVINLY POSSIBLE on the 4th (and 5th) hehehe

I'll be busy keeping my dog calm. He gets very scared even after taking Valium pills. There's always big fireworks blasting-off all over the neighborhood even though it's illegal!

First I have to go drive my 1968 m35a2 kaiser(basicly a big two and half ton all wheel drive military truck with 10 tires) in the parade, I was hoping to have my tank ready by then but finding parts is taking a long time so it doesnt run yet.

Then after that ime going to my friends house out in the middle of no were. There we pretty much take our atvs an trucks and go play in the mud. Inbetween a little bbq an beer and thats about it.

Also plan on taking a few pictures and hopefully my husband is able to recieve letters soon and were gonna send them to him
