What do you keep in your wallet? Or wallet substitute? If you carry a purse, consider these to be the types of things that fit in a wallet, even if they are loose in your purse.

BTW, Did you know that as many as 89% of us fail to include emergency contact information in our wallets or cell phones, yet it can prove helpful in case of an emergency? Your driver's license doesn't provide a phone number of anyone to help in case you can't communicate!

Don't have an actual wallet but I have a leather check book that has slots for cards in it that I carry. I have checks, cash when I have it, debit card, insurance card, DL, and rewards cards in it.

I like to keep light. Dl, Dc, and a certain coffee place frequency card.

Driver's license, a government card, a pizza and coffee reward cards, change and cash. I can't put my library card in it because the card is actually used to stamp the dates. I know...my library is kinda weird. All the other libraries I've used have given me a plastic card.

I keep cash, debit card, reciepts, SS card & all of my ID's, business cards & insurance card, although that is kept in my glove compartment when I remember. My bookstore card, especially my discount card for my local bookstore. I trade in my books & get huge discounts, so I don't ever lose that card. Lol.

Rewards cards too & those grocery store cards & coupons for free kefir! Lol. I used all my free creamer coupons. If it ain't for free stuff, I don't keep the coupon.

And that about sums it up. Lol.

You are smart not to carry your Social Security card!

No one should carry their SS card! It's the key to your identity for identity thieves! If you must, you can carry a photo copy with only the last 4 digits showing, the rest inked out.

You shouldn't carry your medicare card, either, because it contains your SS #.

Experts also recommend, that you have zerox copies of all the cards in your wallet/purse, fronts & backs, plus all contents listed & keep them somewhere safe at home.
If your wallet/purse is stolen, you will know what was in it & have all the numbers in one place, to call for cancelling the cards!

I knew it was not a good idea to carry SS card in your wallet. I forgot it's on my insurance card!

My wallet is fairly small since it also houses my cell phone, however im able to get a few important things in there such as: my drivers license and school ID, creditcard, voters card, and insurance cards. I have a couple of miscellaneous cards like my block buster card and a couple of business cards ive got. I rarely carry cash or checks around with me.

I don't own a wallet. I hardly ever carry cash with me and if I do I keep it in a pocket of my bag. But I do carry a card holder with lots of credit/debit cards, myki card(that's for transport here in Melbourne), health insurance, uni ID card, membership cards, etc.
