What do you use to get stains out of clothing?

Do you use a spray on stain remover? Or just pour your detergent on the spots? I have a very active 10 year old that plays 3 sports and tends to get horrible grass stains. I also have a 15 month old...enough said. I'm also pregnant so I will need something to take out formula, spit up stains. I haven't found anything that really works EVERY time.

i use tide stain remover. the kind that you scrub on the stain right before you wash it. i've had good outcomes using that.

blood stains can be taken care of with warm water or hydrogen peroxide if they're fresh... i also use my fingernail to scrap away the stain after a stain remover has sat on it for a few minutes.

if none of that works you can always do like i do, buy a sharpie that matches and color over it.

Another vote for Tide Stain Remover. Sometimes if the stain is small (and I'm out of Tide) I'll make a paste with Irish Spring and scrub it into the fabric. The stain is always gone after a trip through the washer then.

There's this stuff you get at Babies R Us called "Toddler Time" and it gets stains out of anything. I used it a lot when my kids were babies and toddlers, but I still use it, on rare occasion I go into Babies R Us.

Tide stain remover for bad stains, pouring and lathering the liquid detergent for mild or fresh stains.
