I have a tankini that I generally wear, sometimes with board shorts. But depending on where I'm going (and who I'm going with) I also have a string bikini, and then another pair of just bottoms with no top.

If I wear a bikini top, I wear loose cargo shorts.

My boyfriend says he loves my body and I shouldn't be ashamed of it.
However, if I went with some friends, maybe a billowy sundress, some sunglasses and such.

I am not overweight, but I've just never looked good in a bikini despite love and encouragement. I'd much rather wear a very low-cut monokini that covers my not-so-hot bottom half but exposes my awesome boobs. I wear a one-piece to the lap pool because there's no reason to look hot while I'm exercising, and that water is cold!

I do own a string bikini because I had to get sun exposure when I had a severe vitamin D deficiency, but I never ventured outside my parents' backyard in it!

I have bikini line issues so I wear men's board shorts. I will actually wear a bikini top with a 3/4 sleeve surf shirt over it because I'm very self conscious about my back. I'm working on getting over my issues though, so maybe this summer it will be bare back season?

bikini - my body shows in a one piece anyway, so I might as well get a bikini that fits better than a one piece usually does (I need different sizes for my chest and my hips, so one pieces are always lopsided one way or another, whereas the bikinis actually fit).

Good for you - swimming is great exercise. I like to mix it up with biking, rowing and hiking - my knees can't take the running any more.

If its a normal public pool I wear a two piece bikini. If its a more adult only type place thong and bikini top. If its a semi-wild adult place thong and topless. If its the river or a remote lake area, or an adult club I just go naked.
