ipubrofen i pop it like it's going out of style. i dont believe in rebound headaches. downside: u have to take it with a big glass of milk and a food item or else you will get stomach ulcers probably and it will hurt. and iburofen can't help that pain.

I usually don't take anything at all and just wait it out but if I have to that means it's really bad and I go for the prescription my doc gave me for times like those.

I pretty much take whatever I can get since I have very bad headaches

Depends on how bad the pain is, and where it is.
If it's not bad enough to impede daily activities, I usually just take a couple aspirin.
But if it's a lingering pain (such as one of those stubborn headaches) or it's really bad, I take 800mg of ibuprofen.

The only time I've ever used something super strong was the two percocet that they gave me in the hospital when I went in with a nasty infection from a horizontally impacted wisdom tooth.
The pain was so bad that even eating pudding made me tear up, and I had this unsightly golf ball sized lump on my lower cheek...not fun given how wide they make you open up to check your mouth. x_x

The only pain reliever I ever use for headaches is Excedrin. All the others are just a waste of time for me. Sometimes I will take ibuprofen for body aches or after dental work. It was pretty tough when Excedrin was recently off the market for a year...I hope that doesn't happen again. I was like the sponge-worthy episode of Seinfeld. "Is this headache Excedrin worthy?"

If the various over the counter pain relievers don't work, then it's time to call my doc.

Ibuprofen for headaches,
Acetaminophen for body aches,
Aspirin for hangovers.

I usually don't get body aches etc, just head aches. I take tylenol usually, but I prefer BC powder which has asprin in it.

I don't need pain relievers much, but when I do, I take Advil liqui-gels.

Pamprin! Or if it's not that... I pop an ibuprofen. Tylenol doesn't do a thing for me.

Heat wrap, I try to avoid pain relievers. If it's bad though, ibuprofen tends to work wonders.

Headaches - Excedrin migraine, muscle aches and pains - Advil.

Ibuprofin for everything. Especially my period cramps. I've tried a pill for only that, and it actually worsened my cramps.

Normal Excedrin will take care of most of my aches and pains. Theres not point waisting money on the Migraine versions since the active ingredients are exactly the same in kind and quantity but $2 more for the name. I will take a Vicodin if something is really in pain like my knee or back, both of which have had their fair share of problems. - C
