What is your preferred way to travel, plane, car, train, bus? Does it depend on how far it is? Or does cost determine which way you go? Or do you always use the same method?

The wife does not fly so for family trips we always drive, as I just love to drive this works out good. I will fly if time is short though. I refuse to take a bus if I can help it. Trains are fine is I am by myself but they take to long for my liking.

Experience -
Plane - depending on carrier and how many stops, will usually deal with it
Train - have yet to ride anything more than commuter trains, but I like them
Bus - from the Space Coast to Boston (and back) in 1999 ... NEVER AGAIN
Car - if I really have to; it's fun to stop off and all that, but my ass hurts after half a day and I hardly get any sleep during the trip
