Oh no! That's awful, awful, awful. We've NEVER had any real horrible weather in my area. A tornado is unheard of, or was. We had something once when I was a teen that they said "could've" been a tornado. All it did was blow a few signs down and take part of the tin off a gas station.

Then, May 2011 we had 3 tornadoes in one day. It was pure hell. We were all so scared. I've never seen anything in my life like it. It just totally tore our area apart. our house was OK thank God, but others were just horrific.

So, I'm always really sorry to hear when bad weather happens. I honestly think these occurances have something to do with the Rapture Of The Church nearing. This is just my beliefs from what I've learned from the bible (predictions). Not trying to scare anybody, but you ask what's going on, and that's truly what I think.

The tornadoes that we had in 2011 was the super weird thing that I've experienced since our area does not have that kind of thing happen. I'm hoping the horrible weather problems like hurricanes and tornadoes and all this mess slacks off. It's so devastating!

We were at Krystal getting something to eat last week and there was a bad storm coming. The wind was going mad and when we walked in a man and his wife were on their computers eating and he was pointing outside saying it looked like a tornado coming. It did look that way. He told us to pray for them because they'd just took off from their home in Louisana due to everything being under water. He said they had to leave because of it and he was truly terrified. It was sad.

While those are odd, there's been plenty of bodies of water turned red by things like algae and pollution.

I'm not saying that it's not possibly the rapture or some similar biblical phenomenon, but there's more than likely some logical explanation for it.

If the world is ending, I'd rather not know anyway. I panic if a spider comes near me, with something like the end of life as we know it...I'd probably wind up on a daily dose of Klonopin.

There are so many strange and unusual things going on that I believe it is full filling the Bible's teaching of things to happen before the Rapture. Every generation says this will be with end of time as we know it but the wars and rumors of wars have never been greater as well as the other things. Our sermon today was on being the sower and reaper of God's crops. the need is great!

Things are changing like you said. There are places that never had tornados and now are having them. Last time I was traveling I noticed that mountains were all burned up definitely not even nice how they used to be. The news about people eating other peoples faces out, now that was freaky. Now i'm wondering if we are in for a lot more chaos in the future.

We tend to look at things through a short window like our lifetime or the last century. The earth has gone through dozens of ice ages and warmer periods and there were no humans around to blame.

Variability if a natural part of the history of our sun and planet. Since no one wants to freeze in winter or swelter in the summer - were going to have to use a lot of energy to make 6+ billion people safe and comfortable.

If we spent more time figuring out how to deal with change and less time fretting that the sky is falling - we'd be better off!

I'm sure the sky is not falling but it does make me think more about them Bible predictions.

New York having a tornado: very rare, but it happens.

Thousands of dead fish (or thousands of dead anything): is common; it's practically boring.

China having a blood red lake: Normal. Algae's funky.
