Well, it's Friday night. My wife and I have a REALLY lame Friday night tradition, going back several years: we go to the grocery store! Not every Friday, but probably about 85% of the time, including tonight, we head over to our local grocery to pick up whatever we're going to need for the weekend. It's actually kind of fun. The store is never crowded and it's already stocked for the weekend rush. We enjoy having a leisurely chat while we shop. But really — grocery shopping on Friday night? How lame is that?!

I always do grocery shopping on Friday night and the supermarket is usually packed. It makes sense, who wants to do chores on a weekend.

Glad to know we're not the only ones! Our store is almost empty most Fridays. 2/3 of the people that are there are college kids buying party supplies. The store will be packed all day Saturday and pretty busy on Sunday, too.

Our attitude is the same as yours. We'd rather get outdoors on the weekend and enjoy life.

I play this game League of Legends. Every Tuesday and Friday there is a "Skin Sale" that I always have to check out.

Oh man...I go to the cycle parts room, sit on the floor and organize the parts. And sniff the old motorcycle smell....Yeah, pretty lame!! Even lamer--when hubby's dad died, our big break to regroup while packing his belongings up--go to the Kawasaki dealership to smell the smell of new dirtbikes. It calmed us both down, gave us a break from our pain and made us talk about the new stuff.

I'm twenty-five and love knitting and bingo...and hanging out with my cats...and playing cribbage. everything I do is lame really

That's not lame at all! I'm like that with different scents as well. Smells and memories go hand in hand!

I totally get it. Whenever I'm feeling low, tinkering on my bicycles always makes me feel better, and I think the smell of tires, lubes (etc) is a big part of it.

We do the same thing, but on the rare occasion we catch a movie first.

i actually really enjoy it as well! especially when i get to go wth my partner and we plan out what we're going to have and get the junk food we dont need. We tend to do this often and then spend the night (after i've cooked a delicious something) watching several episodes of the simpsons before going to bed.
