As a firm believer that sex is an integral part of a healthy relationship, I don't believe on wasting my time on someone that I inevitably can't stay with because we aren't sexually compatible.
This is why I would have sex with someone I was interested in by the second date. Protection was always used and I kept myself tested. I don't think it makes sense to spend months or even weeks with a wo/man only to discover that I can't stand sex with her/him.
That being said, I have been living with my current (and hopefully last) boyfriend for over a year and we are expecting our first child together! So I guess I didn't screw myself up too bad lol

Nine months. Nine, long months! It had nothing to do with pregnancy, we just weren't in the position to do anything about our feelings and mutual attraction at the time.

My wife and I dated without having sex for about 3 years. I'm glad we waited. It's not archaic, it's a sign of deep respect and love.

I think about two weeks?
I mean with my high school boyfriend it was a fair bit longer before penetrative sex, but we still dove into nonpenetrative sex pretty darn quickly.
I know myself well enough now that if somebody doesn't want to have sex on a first date, it wasn't really a date, we're only ever going to be friends.

2 1/2 years because we were long distance, how long did it take to happen after I moved in with him? Three Hours. And the reason it took that long, our first apartment didn't have air conditioning when we moved in, so it was 96 degrees in there and I was slightly concerned about heat stroke.
