What's your common ailment/illness?

Contributor: Mwar Mwar
I tend to get sinus infections the most while my mother tends to get bronchitis more. Some people tend to get certain types of sicknesses more often.

When looking at these common ailments, which do you tend to get most often?

I suffer from allergies all year round and have been getting allergy shots for close to 7 years now. Other than that I'm usually pretty healthy

Since August, I have had a sinus infection, pneumonia, strep throat, the flu and bronchitis. It has not been a fun semester.

Since I was five years old (I'm 34 now) and all the way through highschool, I used to get tonsilitis EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN' YEAR! After several years of this pain and chugging penicillin, my family doc REFUSED to take my tonsils out (even after we found out that I had a deviated septum and narrow nasal passages as well which lead to sinus infections on top of ear infections and tonsilitis all at the same time in the years to come). His excuse? It never got that bad. Uhm, okay, I suffered all this for YEARS and he REFUSED to do anything about it...and my mother never took me to another doctor either. So fast forward years later, my tonsils are chronically enlarged, I can choke while drinking water, I can barely breath through my nose, I get constant headaches because I can barely breath through either mouth or nose (though not as many as I had when I was younger), etc...yeah, my problems were never "bad enough" to warrant surgery when I was young. /rant

None of the above, thankfully. I feel bad for those that do.

I used to get sinus infections and sore throat all of the time. I have other ailments though, so that was the least of my problems.

I don't get coughs very often - maybe 2 or 3 times a year at most - but when I do get them, they stick around for months at a time. Other than that, I have year-round allergies that manifest in hives and facial swelling, and arthritis-like pains in my hips because of my hypermobility.

I still get ear infections if I stress out too much, and I suffer from back pain.

I get sick here and there. Usually with a common cold which consists of a stuffy/runny nose and a sore throat. I rarely get more sick than that, but it sticks around for a while.
