Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. Recent years it has won out of fourth of july, the fun of dressing up and getting to pretend to be someone else is better than fireworks and cotton candy.

I love the Fourth of July because it's totally secular, fun, and encourages reading up on history and civic pride! If I lived in any non-US country I'm sure my homeland's day of national celebration of independence/national establishment/however the history of that country had gone would be my favorite.

This was a tough decision but Christmas is my favorite holiday (I'm one of the people that keep their Christmas music on their mp3 year round).
