I like wine most of the time. When out at a party there often isn't wine so I like Southern Comfort and Coke too. Or Disaronno and Coke or oooh Black Cherry Rum and Coke. I think the black cherry rum and coke is my favorite actually.

Bourbon or Scotch are my go to drinks, either with just a little water or a couple ice cubes. I also just picked up a pretty good bottle of Rye the other night.
As far as beer, only Guinness and only on tap.

I fell in LOVE with a new drink in the last few weeks, at this cool local restaurant Pod. It’s called a Samurai Jack. The only recipe I could find for it (which doesn’t seem totally accurate, but is very close) is:

Samurai Jack

Rasberries
Mint
Simple Syrup or Honey Simple Syrup
Jack Daniels
Soda Water

Muddle Raspberries, Mint and simple syrup or honey in a tall glass. Fill with crushed ice. Add 2 oz JD and top off with soda water. Drink with a straw!

If it is made well even people that don't like whiskey will enjoy this drink.

As a raspberry lover and a whiskey lover, I am in heaven over this drink!

If it wasn't for the gin & tonic I would say you're me!

I love an amaretto sour, whiskey sour (with JD), amaretto and coke.

As for all others, I am a wine drinker (big time). I love a good Syrah or Dolcetto and as far as white wines it needs to be a Riesling or Gewurztraminer. But I am neurotic, so I may be a little picky with wines.

As far as beer, well, J recently watched me drink a Corona and apparently it is as unnatural as it gets.

I love anything with vodka or chocolate in it. I absolutely LOVE mudslides. I recently tried a bottled Nesquik chocolate milk with a lot of vodka and some whipped cream in the bottle. It came out to a nice thick consistency, like a half melted chocolate shake.

I used to like rum and Coke, until I did rum shots with my ex boyfriend and got too drunk and sick. Now just the smell of rum makes me nauseous.

If I want a drink just to be drunk, I get some vodka and cranberry apple juice. The juice is sweet so it doesn't make me feel like I have heartburn later.

I don't really drink very many different drinks. I don't have much opportunities to go to the bar.

Ha! My boy tried this once when we first started dating. The result looked a lot like Kahlua, and tasted sort of like it, but overall wasn't a very good match. I'd rather shell out the money instead of winging it. I like the bottles a lot anyway

I enjoy White Russians and the occasional Black Russian, but milk/cream-based drinks really hit the spot for me. I've never been a big fan of the vodka-and-crans that seem to be popular. Screwdrivers are alright.

I like root beer and gin. I know it sounds weird, but it's tasty. I also like just mixing stuff together and seeing if it works (that's how the RB + gin came about...I didn't have any cola!). I'm trying to incorporate Fresca in my mixed drink repertoire.

I think the better question is, is there anything you can't mix Everclear with?

I was at a party once where there was a huge Gatorade cooler that was literally Everclear, lemon juice, and a little bit of water. If that helps to give you any ideas, lol

A friend of mine and I had a similar situation, only all we had was gin and gingerale. It's actually pretty good.

I love fruity martinis (many different kinds) and margaritas. I also like some types of wines.

I haven't had a Kahlua drink in some time, but like those, too!

Mojitos! I could drink those all day. Other than that, pretty much anything with rum in it. I'm not too big on vodka unless I'm doing shots. I absolutely hate gin and whiskey. I'm not a huge fan of wine, at least not what I've tried so far.
