What type of reader are you?

I'm glad I am not alone. I do, every few years, re-read my favorites. It is like watching an old favorite movie again, really.

wishes I could get into reading. I will usually start a book and then put it down and never get back around to finishing it.

I used to be an avid reader, but once I got into college, I did so much school reading that my eyes and brain were just too tired to do any other kind of reading.

I will be both depending on how much time I have to sit and read. Here lately Ive able to read 10-15 pages at a time, which sucks cause I always want more. lol.

I read when I have quite time around the house. That is about the only time I have to set aside for reading. And it is not much.

I read a ton but I hardly ever read fiction. I don't have the patience for it. It's all textbooks, nonfiction scientific/cultural/hi storical novels, academic journals, and news news news for me.

If I read a book, I try to read it all in one sitting. I read very quickly, though, so this is usually not a problem for me. If I don't have time, though, I am okay reading it by bits and pieces

Once I get started I can't put the book down. Especially my romance novels! I love my trashy romance novels!

I'll read anything! I'm a writer so I guess loving to read goes hand in hand. My lovie's wanting to get me a Kindle or something similar! Love it! I read every day.

I am a big bookworm, and I read a book in a day or two if I really get drawn into it, otherwise it takes about a week. It depends on how much free time I have though.

It usually depends on the book. If I'm really into it I will finish it in 3-5 nights. If I'm not into it and force myself to finish it it could be 3 weeks.

I can't stand having to come back to the story. I pick a book, pick a spot, and read obsessively until I'm done.

I go through phases also, as someone else upthread mentioned. If a book really grabs me, I'll read it in just a few days. Otherwise, if I'm busy or not feeling well, it can take me forever to finish a book.

My man just devours books, so we tease each other about our different reading styles. lol

I do read alot at night before bed and have a good book collection. It depemds on my mood whether or not I will curl up and just read for hours. I will at times though.

I love to read. I often read to help me wake up (I don't usually drink coffee) and during the day and sometimes before bed (if The Man has fallen asleep and doesn't need Service.)

I can read books in hours. Sometimes I slow down, so the book will last longer. I just got the new Stephen King 11/23/1963 and just started it last night. I fell asleep reading it (My Man had fallen asleep on the couch, so I had the bed and my time to myself) and need to go and read some more.

I don't read as often as I would enjoy to, because I literally get stuck in time and there is nothing in the world but my book I am reading, and the world could end and O/our H/home turn upside down I am still buried in my book and stay on my butt until I finish it!

I prefer to sit down, and read for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours without a break, so that often makes me forget about the most basic domestic duties and they remain to be done by my Master - so I rather keep it in mind that a book means total oblivion for me, so I better pick it good when it is a good time to take my time with it not having to worry I would be too careless to do what a pussywench is supposed to... ^^ ~blushes

I read a bit here and there, I have never read an entire book in one day (maybe split over two). Sometimes I'll put down a book for a week or so before continuing.
