My first was backing into a car behind me by accident, and it was my only car wreck. Every day I'm that much more thankful it wasn't worse and that I haven't gotten into a wreck that would devastate my loved ones. What was your first car wreck and what was it from?

1) What is your fault?
2) Where did it occur?
3) Was your car totaled?
4) Are you STILL in debt from it?

Mine is still being payed off month by month and feels like it's taking forever. Wrecks can be expensive. Tell me about your's.

My first, and only, car wreck happened when a car full of stoned teenagers ran into my back tire, sending me spinning. When they stopped, one teenager popped out of the car and ran down the street and the other ones tried to say that I wrecked their electrical system (the cops even checked it, their car only had a small dent in the front). My wheel was completely sideways and could not safely be driven.

It was not considered my fault and their claims were unsubstantiated. We decided that since my car was in such crappy shape ANYWAY, to get a new car, which I've had ever since.

some one rear ended me at a red light. She was on the way to the hospital with her kid, so we exchanged info real fast, then I went to work. I called it in at work. Her insurance agent had already talked to her, and thanked me for being so nice to her after the accident. It was nothing major, but damage was done to me car. Everything worked out.
