When boobs itch in public...

Contributor: Rockin' Rockin'
Sometimes, boobs itch. Sometimes, they itch while you're not alone in your room in your pajamas with no one looking. When in public (definition: you are clothed, and other people are around who don't normally see you scratching your boobs) do you scratch your itchy boob?

Feel free to elaborate on stealthy ways to scratch, embarrassing situations, or the conditions in which you will/won't scratch.

Lol, nice thread. I'll admit, I scratch. Usually I find some almost-discreet way to do it, though.. turn away or pretend I'm playing with my hair.

One of the best things about being pregnant and actually showing was having a great excuse to freely scratch my breasts in public.

I scratch. I have a public pretense of being a lady, so I attempt to be sneaky about it. Mine never itched until I had kids. Now not only do they itch, but my bra is the FIRST thing that comes off the MINUTE I get home. I'm slightly notorious among my friends for being the "one who hates to wear a bra."

Hahaha, I try to look like I'm doing something else, too, like adjusting a shoulder strap or crossing my arms in a weird way.

Haha, I've pretended to be stretching, and kind of...squash my boob with my arm to kill the itch. But there's a point, when it doesn't go away, that you just have to attack it and scratch. I mean, it happens, and guys adjust themselves all the time, so too bad. lol

I spend considerable time speaking to groups, usually all women but I try to to be very discreet. The damn itch can be so distracting to me...

I went to an all girls high school and then a very liberal hippy college-- I scratch. No one cares. I have friends who announce it: "Guh! Nipple itch!!" When I'm around the great aunts or a conservative crowd, I'll be discreet about it, but I mean come on--guys are scratching their balls everywhere I go, so I say I get to itch my boob.

You know, I wear a 34FF bra. Also, I live in the middle of the desert. Today, it was 110 degrees outside. Needless to say, my boobs itch. Alot. I dont even care anymore, I scratch. I really dont worry about drawing attention to my boobs, because they do enough of that on their own! Honestly though, I dont see how its that big of a deal. Its not like Im groping myself in public, just scratching an itch. If I gotta dig all the way down in my bra, I'll at least head to a section of the store where there are only a few people, or only women. Like Saurou said, if guys can scratch their balls constantly, then I can scratch my boob, and to hell with anyone who gives me a dirty look for it!

I'm one of those whenever/wherever scratchers. I guess after three kids and all, I just don't care anymore. It's amusing to my husband too so, why not? He'll usually try to embarass me by asking if he can help with that though. I'm just afraid to tell him yes because he would publicly grope me at that point which would be way worse than just scratching my boob myself.

What about if your penis itches in public? HAHA! A person recently looked at me weird when I put my hand down my pants to itch myself or adjust myself and I just grinned. Honestly, I don't give a damn. Yes, I was in a theme park which might seem a little weird, but it isn't as if I was taking my penis out and jacking off to children.

Lol!

I am actually too shy to scratch my breast in front of people. I usually let the itchyness die by itself (agonizingly). However, if I get a wedgie, I litteraly put my hands down my pants and adjust my underwear so they are no longer chaffing my asshole in public. I think that is the most uncharming thing and more emberassing then scratching a breast so I don't get why I'm shy about it.

LOL! I've done the very same thing but it doesn't help. Since it's the nipple that itches, there are not many ways that I can disguise a scratch, so it's just a matter of trying to find a time or a place where no one is looking before I lose my mind.

I'm like Happy Lady, too, in that when I go home the bra is the first thing to come off. I remember some episodes of Sex and the City where Carrie especially wore her bra to bed. I can't imagine that!

Just itch it. After breastfeeding my daughter in public, I have less of an issue with what I do in public. If someone doesn't like me itching my breast, look elsewhere!

Unfortunately, while I'd love to scratch boob itches in public, I don't bother. With breasts this large, one of the easiest ways to add support to a bra is to add a thin layer of padding... which is almost impossible to scratch through. I have to wait until I can get into a bathroom so I can reach under the bra to scratch. If this wasn't the case, I'd surreptitiously scratch in public. I figure, if guys can rearrange their crotch in public, I can scratch any non-crotch region I want.

HA! Well, that isn't the MOST uncharming thing, but it's worse than itching your breasts.

Ugh, padding, yes. I'm a smaller-breasted gal and some of my bras are quite padded, which makes those times when I itch in them just awful! And what can I do then? Jam a finger up under my bra? Hahaha...yeah that's just an awkward situation.

It is indeed. I was once caught, hand between the top of the cup and the boob, trying to scratch unseen. He thought I was groping myself. Thank goodness it was my boyfriend who caught me, and we were in a dark movie theater... no other witnesses as far as I know. But still. Awkward.

I'm definitely a scratcher. I don't care who is around or what the situation is either. At times when it should be embarrassing or awkward I make a point of loudly announcing that my boob itches and that I intend on scratching it. Then I do. This makes the people around me a good deal more uncomfortable than discreetly rubbing my inner elbow against it would, and that makes me happy. (^_^)

The only time I would try and be discreet is in a formal situation, like a job interview or during public speaking.

Usually I do, no biggie. However, there are times when it's not really appropriate...like when you're in the middle of delivering a testimony at a murder trial. Hence I voted "Most of the time."

I never noticed my breasts itching until I recently started wearing thicker bras that have the pre-molded cups. Now I *CAN'T* itch and it drives me crazy!

I do it pretty much whenever, wherever. Normally I just end up sticking my thumb underneath the bottom of my bra and going from there. When I'm at home however, it's all out and I don't care who sees! lol

i scratch. but i jus slip my thumb down my shirt which i think is fairly discreet if im sitting which is usualy when it happens, but this is when no ones looking at me. i dont care that much its not a big deal, its true guys adjust themselves all the time.

And to naughty student, no the most unatractive adjustment a girl can do it when they grab their back beltloop and hike thr pants up with it wedging into their ass, i dont know why but mostof the time this is wikid unatractive to me. also if i girl pulls her pants up wayy too much.

I don't wear padded bras every day or to go to work. I don't find them comfortable. So if I itch, I will just scratch in a subtle manner with my arm on top of my clothes. It takes care of most itches.

I can't adjust my package in public. I've peed in the woods, but I can't adjust myself in public. After seeing "people of Walmart.com" website, and realizing there are security cams everywhere, I go to the men'sroom.

If it itches, I scratch it. I don't make a big production out of it or anything and try to scratch as discreetly as possible. I breastfed my babies in public, so a scratch here or there is nothing.

Yep. I scratch 'em. Or my guy offers to do it for me. Hell, if my boobs are popping out of my bra I'll reach in my shirt and shove the damn things back in.

They're very unruly.

I work serving people. I have long hair that frequently finds its way into my shirt somehow. I don't scratch them in front of customers but if I have an itch or need to pull the hair out I go into the back room
