Always about half an hour to an hour (- the latter in exceptional cases only) before dinnertime. I never make meals that take many hours to prepare.

it all depends on how long the meal takes to cook. I dont cook until the evening though on most days.

I only cook dinner, I make my boyfriend's lunches. I start working on dinner before my boyfriend get's home and the time depends on how long the dish will take to cook.

depends on what we are eating that day. some days i start cooking as soon as i wake up making breakfast. other days we just eat cereal and i dont cook till lunch or dinner.

Whenever I feel like it/need to eat. I only cook for myself and I have fairly irregular hours at which I get home (I'm a college student who also works and is the president of a couple clubs, amongst other activities).

I agree with this

Only time I ever have a "set time" to cook an eat is when I am at my cousin's an the kids have to eat before bed. That is the only scheduled time.

It depends on what I'm making but usually I'll start dinner at least an hour before dinner time. Things like lasagna, meatloaf or casseroles will take longer so I start them earlier.
