When do you get to writing your review?

I use it a few times and make sure I have the bases covered for any questions I had about it, then write my review. It does vary per item, though.

No! I don't believe anybody can truly form an opinion on any sex toy with one use. For me, it will take at least 5 uses and for something besides an ol' cheapie, I'll wait weeks sometimes months because I want to provide as accurate as a review as possible and I've had many toys that truly take months to know. For me, it totally depends on what day of the month it is when it comes to my reaction to a toy. I recently bought Icicles no.7 and the day I got it, I used it and hated it, but knew better than to trust myself because I knew I would need more than a few experiences. During certain days of the month, anything inside me will be denied. Lol. I suffer from endometriosis so I have to be really careful. Sometimes one in and out motion will cause me serious pain and can even last all night. When I use a toy and no matter what we do, it's uncomfortable, I always wait until one of my "horny days." Lol. Usually, I end up loving the toy I hated. Now if it's an all around shitty vibrator (sorry! for the language! lol) I will probably keep somewhat the same opinion about the vibrations. It don't matter what day it is, if it's buzzy and numbs me, it's going to do it no matter how horny I am. Lol. I'll never write a review with only one use though!

For instance, I bought the Enchanted Crystal vibe and adored it! Used it internally and had some pretty amazing O's. Very surprising too and I knew I would give it a great review (besides that it's a crappy massager) and the 2nd use, it BROKE! So that completely turned my opinion around. I don't trust any sex toy review that was written soley on one use.

I usually use it twice. I think I can judge how well it works in 2 uses. That is, unless I just hate it, then it gets one try and that is it!

I try to use a toy multiple times and put it through its paces before I write a review. I want to make sure I can cover all the bases.

Usually 5+ uses for me, different positions, variations, locations etc. I want to try cover as much info as I can before I will write my review.

I usually use the item a few times over a couple of days. I try to get to know it fairly well : )

When I first started reviewing, I would try to get to my reviews right away. Now, I need to use a product multiple times in order to truly get a feel for it.

I rarely write a review in one sitting, so I tend to start it right away with the basic facts, then add to it with my experiences as I go along.

There have been a few things that I knew right away I loved or hated, but I gave them a few more uses to see if my opinion changed. The only thing I didn't use more than once was a vibe that actually transferred its color onto things. I covered it with a condom, used it as many ways as I thought it could be the one time, wrote the review, and tucked it away. I ended up throwing it out a few months later.

I tend to want to use it at least two times first. It takes about a week and a half at least for me to really finish it and figure out how I feel about the item.
