I can't remember how old I was, but it was somewhere around age 14 or 15. The girl I was dating startled me while I was in the middle of talking about something else, and I can even remember falling back on my hands (we were sitting on the floor) when she got close because I was so surprised.

22. He was nine or ten years older than me, and it was awkward in the sense that we were just sitting there watching The Simpsons when he said out of nowhere "I'm gonna kiss you now".

I was five. She lived a couple aisles down from me and we had hung out all day. It started raining that night, so she decided she was going to walk me home.
We got to my house and she said, "We're supposed to kiss now. To practice for when we kiss boys."
"Why do we have to pretend the other is a boy?" I asked.
She never answered me, just leant forward and began french kissing me. I kissed her back. When we broke apart, I said I should walk her home, then.
We went back and forth like that for a while until we finally only walked halfway between our houses, kissed once more, and walked the rest of the way home by ourselves.
