I just did a glance through of my closet, and discovered about 95% came from a thrift store. The rest are either gifts or bought new.

Thrift stores or very cheap at the mall. Forever 21 and Wet Seal have good $5 shirts, and most skirts I get at thrift stores or try and find them on sale.
