I have a mac, had it for about 5 years and it's going strong. I won't get rid of it until it dies. Overall Macs are a better quality. I also was in a high school that used only Macs so when it was time to choose a computer for college if chose one.

And in some college demographics the Mac/PC stats are closer to a 50/50 or 33/66 ratio.

I prefer the quality of a PC and the ability to do my own thinking. Especially not willing to pay the exorbitant Mac prices.

I used to always have a PC but I switched to a Mac about 2 years ago and I love it! It does take some time getting used to but it's great.
