Laptop or Desktop : which do you prefer?

I prefer laptops.

Laptops are good for portability, but desktops are easy to alter and repair.

I love my laptop I feel odd using a desktop.

Desktop. I like being able to sit at the computer. Laptops drive me crazy. I used them in school and hated it more than anything so they always allowed me to use a desktop if the computer room was empty.

Plus I'll drop a laptop more times then my coffee mugs!

Laptop, mainly because of the portability

I prefer laptops for their portability and the fact that you don't need a dedicated piece of furniture to put one on. My laptop is very small and can be folded into a tablet, so it is very easy to take with me or use sitting on the couch, however, I use my iPad way more than my laptop anymore. It's even smaller and lighter, plus my laptop is getting a little beat up. The fan doesn't work well and it gets hot pretty easily nowadays. I need to get it worked on.
