I think the JimmyJane Form 2 has the best features/functions/pul sations. Lelo has a great randomized pattern that rocks and really easy key pads to access them.

I enjoy them but most of mine are not strong enough for long term use. I think I need a Magic Wand with pulse settings.

I usually can't stand the pulsations. I like lots of vroom (just got a hitachi - can't wait to try it out!) Pulsations are annoying but effective in slowing me down or just plain torture. So yeah they get used once in awhile.

I like the pulsation mode on my Form 2. I had a Doc Johnson toy that had a fun pulsation mode once. Other than those two toys, though, I have no use for pulsation.

The only vibe I've ever gotten a lot out of with the pulsation modes is the salsa, but I still like the steady modes best.

I thought I was strange because they rarely do much for me at all. Usually I find myself day dreaming or falling asleep when I'm on pulse mode. They hardly turn me on. I prefer a strong, steady vibration. Now I LOVE some rotations while vibrating, but pulsing really just relaxes me rather than arouse me. I never use pulse mode.

She uses them all the time on her Onye. I think it really depends on the toy.

I just recently started using them constantly. Thought I would come back and mention that. I started using them with my Ran and I noticed that when I use deep pulsation modes internally while I use a clit vibe on steady, it prolongs my orgasms! It's really cool!

I use the pulsation modes the majority of the time. I like the constant vibration settings, but many vibrators will cause me to go a bit numb. I don't seem to have this issue with pulsation modes. They also work great for getting me excited and drawing out my masturbation session.

when I first get a toy with patterns, I usually try them out of curiosity, but I'm honestly a lot more satisfied with the normal, constant vibrations the patterns can be really annoying sometimes.

Pulsations won't get me off, but they works wonders as a way to tease myself, which is fun.

There's one pattern in particular on (in?) my Billy that I just love to death for p-spot use...I use it pretty much exclusively.
