I have to take the trash out and clean the whole house by myself. My room mate works and I clean the house for rent. I have no complaints about it. It is just until I get my disability check started.

My husband usually does it, but I also share that responsibility from time to time as well.

My boyfriend takes the trash/recycling out mostly. I rarely do. He helps with cleaning and aids in cooking here and there.

We all do to some degree, but My boyfriend does the big trash cans the most. I take care of the bathrooms, and hubby dumps the cat litter.

I take out the trash, my son is so lazy when it comes to that and if I don't do it then it won't get done. He going to learn one of these days all the nice stuff he wants he won't get until he does some chores.

I do just about all the chores -_- I don't mind at times, but dear god give me a break at some point. I do the cat litter, the bathroom trash, and our trash. Somedays I'll do it even when I'm wicked sore and he's complaining.

I take out the trash-- it is one of 'my' chores, and my wife has her own.

That'd be me...we used to leave it up to my mom's boyfriend (since it is his house, and he does very...very little else around the place), but that died pretty quickly when he decided to be lazy and skip a couple weeks.
We wound up with this nest of huge maggots underneath an old meat tray I had been unaware of and I've been doing the trash myself every week since that rather unpleasant discovery.

It depends. Pretty much just whoever thinks about it & gets to it first. Most of the time though, my partner is the one to do it. A lot of times, he'll grab it when he sees me going to do it.

Sounds like a good setup you and your roommate have.

In our house trash is men's work. So either me or one of the sons.

I take it all out, but unless I want to send a toddler out, that's my only option!

I do all most all the cleaning, and that includes taking out the trash. I pay half of all our bills, take care of the house, and decorate. It's not a bad deal, but sometimes I'd prefer to live alone and only have to worry about cleaning up after myself.

One of the things I never do...is take out the trash. I don't mow the lawn either. There are few things that I just don't like doing.

That being said, if my husband is away for work, or sick or whatever...I still do it. But if he's around and well, it's his job.
