yes, I know it's a taboo to talk about death, but it's something I keep thinking about as I shop for toys. A friend died this year, and everything he had went to me. So I had to look through everything and decide what to do with it all.

When I die, my family will be the ones going through all of my stuff, and it's mortifying (pun intended) thinking about them finding a stash of dicks & lube. Not to mention the porn on the computer, but there is encryption software for that.

What does everyone else think of this and who will find your stuff?

Funny you should ask. A friend of mine told me long ago that if she dies I have to get to the box in her closet before her mother does! No one in my family would be surprised and if they were, I hope they would get some naughty ideas of their own to try! I'd be dead so I wouldn't care!

If we were to die together our two sons i guess. sure would like to be there to see there faces.

Ha! Like Kristi, who cares. But I'm sure some of my friends will be fighting each other to get to my door and get the toys I have. A lot of my stuff is steralizeable. I know there was already an argument over who would get my pure wand. LOL. (PS- totally know what I'm getting a few friends for birthday presents because of that tiff though!)

Hah, my parents would find it if I died RIGHT.NOW. A few weeks from now I'm going to be moving in with my boyfriend, and then they'd just go to him. Haha!

This is something I have considered before at great length and shudder to imagine my family discovering our toys in case we both died in an accident together. And I don't have a friend here that I could ever consider asking whether s/he could remove a few things before my family went through our stuff. (I don't even know how s/he could get in to remove anything anyways as my husband would never be okay with someone having a key to our place.)

But what I worry about most is what will happen to my cat who has been raised her entire life indoors, is declawed, and would require a home where she would be kept safely indoors and pampered.

it's one of the things to prepare for. there is the friend or family member that you let know where to find you financial info, will, etc. Then there is the person that you let know what to get out of the house before all start snooping.

but really....i don't care

Probably my mother...and she knows I'm a little "different" but she has no idea the full spectrum of toys I have. I think the things she couldn't identify would really freak her out.

My best friend has also informed me that should she die, I am supposed to go straight to her bedroom to remove the box from under the bed!

I think about this all the time. If I die first, I wouldn't be concerned because my S/O will take care of them. But, if it's just me left, I'd be totally okay if my mother finds them because she already knows everything. If my S/O's mother came to my house after I died and found my collection, I'd die again.

I suppose my husband? I'm pretty open about my toy use. My mom knows that I have them. Just last week I showed her my Vixen Creations Vixskin Maverick (she was thoroughly impressed). I wouldn't be all that afraid of someone having to "deal" with my toy collection. I would just see it as a waste if they threw out my completely sterilizable dildos. lol Can't help it. You pay big bucks and someone who isn't interested in toys has to deal with them. They'll probably get tossed. Whatever, what's to worry about? I'll be dead.

I need to like write a part in my living will to donate them to someone. Or 'bury me next to my dildos'.

I live alone but I guess my parents will go through my stuff. I don't really care because I will probably be too dead to feel embarrassed.
