I'm actually intrigued by the system, they managed to make the wii what seemed like a silly concept work wonderfully. However the price, price of the games and my current economic situation coupled with the glitches it's been having out of the ox is making me wait. If it drops about $100 I may consider it.

Not planning on getting it this holiday season, we have a regular Wii and we're very happy with that. That said, we're also not super-serious gamers.

i bought a regular wii for my son (he doesnt know yet) but no, i saw the wii U at walmart and honestly it looks lame to me!

I will wait until it has been out for awhile and has a larger game selection out. I like Nintendo, they always go top notch on their hardware, it is their games that are hit and miss.
