Interesting question...I suppose I'd be happy enough but it'd be even better if he ran such a bath for both of us and there was soapy, naked, hot, wet cuddling going on. =3
Even better still, toss in a handful of rose petals, put on some music, and light some scented (or even some massage oil ones) candles.

I love this! Light some candles, pour two glasses of wine and offer to wash her back and you never know where the evening might go. But we women are complex creatures and just because I adore this doesnt mean she will like it. I have friends who would feel pressured if their partner did this and some women really prefer showers.

Running me a bath with Epsom salts would be lovely. But, I get urinary tract infections from bubble baths, and I always feel like I need to take a shower afterwards to get the soap off of me. So, I'm not a bubble bath kind of chick.

But, getting the bath ready for any other kind of bath would be very nice.

The tub I have that's big enough for the both of us (a rarely used 'jacuzzi' tub in the basement) would run out of hot/warm water before it was even half filled, so I'd be confused as to why he did that. Besides, unless I'm taking a bath with someone else, I get bored easily.
