There's a girl at work I don't talk to because she really doesn't like me or my boyfriend and I don't know why...well she is gone for 4 days on a trip and people started talking about her because they say she is visvious,cold,and a bitch and then say whats been going on..my boyfriend told me when she talks he blocks her out because she will say things to him like how can he date me or why is he dating me. Also a girl's best friend works there with her she would complain to the best friend about her. Apparently she says alot of stuff about me,thats strange I don't say a fucking thing to the bitch I just work at the same place. I've been told she talks about people behind their backs all the time and she won't tell you she is doing it. Also my boyfriend and I are friends with her boyfriend(I wonder how such a nice guy puts up with her) we ran into him at a grocery store like 2 weeks ago he told us she was avoiing us. I could see her reflection in the glass doors of frozen food she had walked by a couple of times.

yes it is irritating but It also makes me want to avoid her even more. I see no pont talking to her about it like its going to change her or something..I'd rather avoid the drama..there is a girl at work she is the nicest person everyone likes her alot she said to me I don't see how anyone can have a problem with you. If I'm grumpy I mostly keep it to myself at work,I will just say I'm grumpy or tired or somethin and thats all I do I probly just won't say much to people but I don't take anything out on anyone and everyone there seems to not have any problem with me

No matter where you going there is going to be someone who has low self esteem and the only way they can make themselves feel better is by talking trash about other people. I don't think that you should take it personally because she probably is only saying it to be mean.

Also, I think you should be the bigger person and confront her and say something nice to her. It would totally throw her off guard and it would make her look like an idiot to keep saying mean things about you, even when you are being nice to her. Its hard to do, but it pays off.

I have to agree with Buzz about her seeming to have low self-esteem. As for what you should do...I can't really say. I was an avoider, too. I would say if she says anything near you, like catty remarks, you should confront but if you ask her about it just out of the blue, she could always deny it and tell you the other people are lying and still not come clean.

Kind of seems like there's a circle of back-biters, not just her.
You have two choices. Continue to ignore her or kill her with kindness. The latter is a little more difficult to muster sometimes but it is very effective and there is no way you don't come out smelling like a rose in the end.

don't worry about stupid people. That happens to me all the time. I just learn not to care about it. People with low self esteem like them just get nowhere anyway.Don't worry about it. She's obviously a pussy if she avoids you.
