1. I hope I put this in the right place in the forum.

2. I'm not trying to plug myself, just asking folks for their opinions. Totally just market research.

3. I am in NO WAY trying to take ANY business from EF... I love EF too much for that kind of thievery.

I have an Etsy shop that I'm thinking of spinning off (notice I did NOT link my shop as I'm gathering information, not trying to PLUG MYSELF) into the world of adult-themed items. Mostly geekery. For EXAMPLE, I make felt coffee cup sleeves that have designs on them or sayings "Don't Touch My Joe," etc.

So my question is, if I started making things like coffee sleeves that said naughtier things or something, would you buy them? I've also thought about making toy pouches that have similar sayings on them (for those who like a little more geekery in their products).

Some sayings I've thought of are:

"Give it to me hot and strong!"
"Hot, Wet, and Tasty"
"Mornings are for coffee (and orgasms)"

I also thought about embroidering little penises or boobs on them.

Things like that.

I would buy ones if they were the type to be a double meaning, or maybe something not too risque. I definitely think many people would buy them even if they were overtly sexual. But me personally, I have three kids. I couldn't have something for a purpose like coffee mugs that had things that were too sexual that they weren't appropriate. I also wouldn't take anything overtly sexual out in public because that's just not my style.

I have always found penises and boobs placed on things meant for display is a wee bit tacky if it's meant to be used outside of the home. (Those keychains on EF for example - who in their right mind...anyway)

For my Saturday morning cup of joe or my midnight moccha hot chocolate, absolutely.

I love etsy stores, but I've never been one to go around carrying things with naughty sayings. Just not my style. By the way, I know you don't want to look like you're just promoting your store on here, but I'd actually love to take a look at it? Maybe you could message me the link if you don't want to post it on the forum?

Speaking of etsy, you can actually get some cool hand made dildos on there. There are a bunch of glass artists with shops that cater to people like us! Unfortunately, no reviews, so I did end up with one piece that was very beautiful, but kind of a weird shape in use. Still, I think it's awesome to support people on etsy!

Although I probably would not buy one considering I don't usually drink hot coffee, I do really like the idea nd would consider purchasing one as a gift. I love the quote "Give it to me Hot and Strong", that one is very cute. Good luck with this idea. I am also an Etsy fan myself.

The original ones, I feel, are a bit too obvious. I prefer double entendres to be subtle, like these ones. So, yes, I'd have no problem buying coffee with such slogans.

I think the idea is really cute. I don't think I would buy them, just cause I'm too shy to have something like that on a coffee cup. The toy pouches would be cute though.
